Country Range Student Chef Challenge

Nurturing Future Culinary Talent Since 2016

About the Competition

The Country Range Student Chef Challenge is a prestigious annual culinary competition that has become a cornerstone event in the catering industry. Designed to test and enhance the skills of full-time hospitality and catering students across the UK and Ireland, the challenge requires teams of three students to collaboratively plan, prepare, and present a three-course, four-cover menu within a 90-minute timeframe. This rigorous format not only assesses their culinary prowess but also their ability to work under pressure, showcasing both classical and contemporary cooking techniques

Run In Partnership With The Craft Guild of Chefs

In 2016, Country Range took over the lead sponsorship of the Student Chef Challenge, partnering with the esteemed Craft Guild of Chefs to elevate the competition's standards and reach. This collaboration ensures that participants receive unparalleled guidance and evaluation from industry experts, providing a platform for the next generation of chefs to hone their skills and gain invaluable experience within a well-established competition format.

The partnership underscores our commitment to supporting culinary education and addressing the industry's need for skilled professionals.
